Kevin and Rhonda Wax own and operate Wax Family Printing, LLC. Kevin serves as General Manager. Rhonda serves as Financial Manager. The family business was established in 1966 by Birdie and Nevin Wax. Kevin literally grew up in the printing business; for many years, the typesetting "department? took up half of his bedroom. After short stints as a high school teacher and a leadership position as a retail store manager, Kevin returned to the family business. He served in the role of General Manager from 1988 to 1997. Kevin and Rhonda began the purchase of  the business in 1997 from his mom and dad.

 

Kevin served two terms on the Murfreesboro City Council from 1990 to 1998, and five years on the Murfreesboro Planning Commission. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Wyatt Wax, and they have four children, Trevin, Justin, Tiffany, and Weston. All four of the children have worked in the family business. Currently, Justin Wax serves as CSR/Sales in a full time capacity. Weston Wax helps in an administrative support role in the summers.    

 

Kevin is an active leader at Northside Baptist Church. He has been elected to serve as a deacon for five three year terms. His fellow deacons have elected him to serve as their Chairman 12 times in the last 16 years. He currently teaches an adult Sunday School class and has been faithfully serving in that capacity since 1991.
